Los veranos aqu\u00ed son tan h\u00famedos y sofocantes que te olvidas de qu\u00e9 significa dormir bien o llevar pantalones durante al menos tres meses.<\/p>\n<p>El verano en Barcelona suele prolongarse hasta finales de Septiembre, pero parece que este a\u00f1o el alivio llega temprano.<\/p>\n<p>Hoy es oficialmente el primer d\u00eda de oto\u00f1o y por fin la temperatura ha descendido a menos de 25\u00b0C.<\/p>\n<p>Por fin me puedo poner pantalones (y a lo mejor los combino con una blusa tambi\u00e9n).<\/p>\n<p>En cualquier caso, no hay duda de porqu\u00e9 los espa\u00f1oles sobresalen en la elaboraci\u00f3n de sopas fr\u00edas.<\/p>\n<p>En otra entrada habl\u00e9 del <span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><a style=\"color: #3366ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/cilantroandcitronella.com\/es\/salmorejo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">salmorejo<\/a><\/span>, una versi\u00f3n m\u00e1s sustanciosa y m\u00e1s cremosa que el ordinario <span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><a style=\"color: #3366ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cilantroandcitronella.com\/es\/gazpacho-con-caviar-de-balsamico\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">gazpacho<\/a><\/span>, y esta receta de ajo blanco es otra de mis sopas fr\u00edas favoritas, seguramente debido a migran adicci\u00f3n al ajo.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-1501 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cilantroandcitronella.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/Spanish-white-garlic-soup-4.jpg\" alt=\"El ajo blanco es una sopa espa\u00f1ola y servida fr\u00eda a base de almendras con ajo y vinagre de jerez. (Pero no te preocupes, siempre hay la otra sopa fr\u00eda y blanca, la <span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><a style=\"color: #3366ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cilantroandcitronella.com\/es\/vichyssoise-vegana\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">vichyssoise vegana<\/a><\/span>, para ti).<\/p>\n<p>Suelo a\u00f1adir el doble de ajo a cualquier receta que hago, y mi marido ya est\u00e1 tan acostumbrado que se sorprendi\u00f3 al ver que esta sopa no sab\u00eda abrumadoramente a ajo.<\/p>\n<p>Por un lado fui precavida mientras probaba esta receta para la gente en general, pero por otro lado el nombre ajo blanco es algo enga\u00f1oso.<\/p>\n<p>No es blanco porque est\u00e9 hecho con una cantidad enorme de pur\u00e9 de ajo (aunque no me molestar\u00eda) sino que es una sopa a base de almendras, espesada con pan y sazonada con una modesta cantidad (ni siquiera lo suficiente!) de ajo, vinagre de jerez y aceite de oliva.<\/p>\n<p class=\"item ERName\">Prob\u00e9 este plato por primera vez durante mi \u201cpsuedoluna de miel\u201d (sobre esto hablar\u00e9 otro d\u00eda) en la playa de M\u00e1laga a principios de Abril.<\/p>\n<p class=\"item ERName\">Tradicionalmente se sirve con uvas pero la sopa de la playa llevaba mel\u00f3n y helado de aceite de oliva.<\/p>\n<p class=\"item ERName\">S\u00e9 lo que est\u00e1s pensando, \u00bfhelado de aceite de oliva? \u00bfEso existe?
