Y la comida mexicana. Como hoy es cinco de Mayo, me parece oportuno ofreceros un poco de comida callejera al estilo mexicano. Las gorditas son b\u00e1sicamente panecillos de ma\u00edz rellenos de lo que te guste. Imag\u00ednate algo como el casamiento entre un pan de pita y un taco frito. Hab\u00eda comprado un paquete de harina de ma\u00edz para hacer un delicioso pan de ma\u00edz con calabac\u00edn y cebolla para acompa\u00f1ar mis <span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><a style=\"color: #3366ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/cilantroandcitronella.com\/es\/carillas-al-estilo-cajun\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><u>carillas al estilo caj\u00fan<\/u><\/a><\/span>. Esa receta no me dio el resultado que quer\u00eda pero mientras guardaba la harina, vi que el paquete indicaba que se pod\u00eda usar para hacer arepas, polenta y gorditas. Mmmm, gorditas.<\/p>\n<p>El producto del que hablo es la harina de ma\u00edz amarillo de la marca P.A.N. Fui al sitio web de la empresa y encontr\u00e9 <span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><u>su receta para gorditas<\/u><\/span>. No estoy segura (porque no soy mexicana), pero no me parece que este tipo de harina de ma\u00edz sea el mismo que la masa harina que se usa para hacer gorditas en M\u00e9xico. Pero tomando en cuenta lo dif\u00edcil que me resulta encontrar harina de ma\u00edz aqu\u00ed, encontrar masa harina verdadera ser\u00eda una tarea monumental que probablemente requerir\u00eda un viaje al \u00fanico mercado mexicano en la otra punta de la cuidad.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-2905\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cilantroandcitronella.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/gorditas_1_30.jpg\" alt=\"Estas gorditas veganas son frescas y llenas de sabores. Perfectas para una almuerzo o cena vegetariano. \" width=\"680\" height=\"680\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"instruction\">As\u00ed que, aunque no sean \u201caut\u00e9nticas\u201d, estas gorditas veganas son muy ricas con el sabor dulce del ma\u00edz y sus rellenos frescos y sabrosos. Rellen\u00e9 las m\u00edas con alubias pintas, repollo, pico de gallo y aguacate. As\u00ed como los tacos, las gorditas van de lujo para aprovechar \u00a0cualquier sobra que tengas escondi\u00e9ndose en la nevera.
