Tuve buenas intenciones pero como no estaba muy puesta en la comida de la regi\u00f3n, siempre lo aplazaba.<\/p>\n<p>La semana pasada por fin puse en marcha mi primera receta caribe\u00f1a publicando este <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cilantroandcitronella.com\/es\/picadillo-cubano-vegano\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><u>picadillo cubano vegano<\/u><\/a> \u2013 \u00a0oh yeah! Y cuando recib\u00ed una copia del nuevo recetario de Taymer Mason, <a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/2kyHVZ1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\"><em><u>Caribbean Vegan<\/u><\/em><\/a>, se me abri\u00f3 todo un mundo nuevo.<\/p>\n<p>Evidentemente la comida caribe\u00f1a es much\u00edsimo m\u00e1s que pi\u00f1as coladas y frutas tropicales y el libro de Taymer nos lleva de viaje explorando platos de Jamaica, Barbados, Guyana y Trinidad y Tobago, entre otros. Describe los ingredientes, or\u00edgenes e influencias culturales que componen cada plato y como la comida de la regi\u00f3n est\u00e1 en un estado de evoluci\u00f3n constante.<\/p>\n<p>Ofrece versiones veganizadas de platos tradicionales caribe\u00f1os y algunos platos m\u00e1s conocidos para nosotros pero con su toque caribe\u00f1o. Cuando vi esta receta de rasta pasta pens\u00e9 que fue un invento suyo. Parece una combinaci\u00f3n extra\u00f1a de comida italiana, india y jamaicana pero de hecho si googleas \u201crasta pasta\u201d, ver\u00e1s que no solamente es un plato que ya existe, sino que es realmente popular. \u00a1Perdona mi ignorancia!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-large wp-image-4942\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cilantroandcitronella.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/rasta-pasta-recipe-photo-3-1360x1997.jpg\" alt=\"Esta receta de rasta pasta es una bomba de sabores. Primero, el condimento jerk de Jamaica, que como puedes ver es un condimento mojado en vez de una mezcla de especias molidas que tal vez ya conoces como \u201cjerk\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Para muchas de las recetas en este libro deber\u00e1s primero preparar uno o m\u00e1s de los sazonamientos y mezclas de especias que hay en el primero capitulo. As\u00ed que para realmente aprovecharte del recetario, necesitar\u00e1s un poco de tiempo para aprovisionar tu despensa. Por suerte, las recetas producen una buena cantidad y se conservan bien en la nevera para la pr\u00f3xima vez que tengas antojo de un poco de sabor de las islas. Yo ya he planeado utilizar el sazonamiento que me sobr\u00f3 para marinar tofu este fin de semana.<\/p>\n<p>La segunda receta es para las alb\u00f3ndigas de nuez y te tengo que decir que estas alb\u00f3ndigas son todo lo que necesitas en la vida. Me atrevo a decir que son mejores que mis <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cilantroandcitronella.com\/es\/sandwich-de-albondigas-veganas\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><u>alb\u00f3ndigas de lentejas<\/u><\/a>. La adici\u00f3n de d\u00e1tiles fue toda una revelaci\u00f3n para m\u00ed, esa peque\u00f1a cantidad de dulzor lo eleva a otro nivel. Tal vez robe esa idea la pr\u00f3xima vez que haga mis alb\u00f3ndigas de lentejas.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-large wp-image-4960\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cilantroandcitronella.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/rasta-pasta-recipe-photo-9-1360x2040.jpg\" alt=\"Esta receta de rasta pasta es una bomba de sabores. La salsa es muy f\u00e1cil de hacer con s\u00f3lo cebolla, ajo, cilantro y curry molido cocido en leche de coco y mezclado con pimientos salteados. Sencillo y delicioso.
